OR a PUC/Senior Secondary (or equivalent) diploma with at least 50% marks and a passing or appearing in final year or fourth year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed). OR a graduation with at least a 50% grade point average and passing or appearing in the last year of a two-year diploma programme.

Paper No. 2: Minimum Requirements (for teaching class 6 to 8)

Graduation with at least a 50% grade point average and passing or appearing in the final year of a two-year elementary education diploma programme (by whatever name is known). OR Passed or enrolled in the last year of a two-year bachelor’s degree programme in education with a minimum of 50%. (B. Ed). ORPUC/ Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the last year of a 4-year B.A. Ed/ B. Sc. Ed (B. El. Ed). OR a high school diploma with at least a 50% grade point average and the ability to pass or participate in a standardised test.
