HTET 2021 Eligibility Requirements

Level 1: Primary Teachers (Paper I) – Applicants for this category must have completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 45 percent marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/ 4-year B. El. Ed/ 2-year Diploma in Education in Special Education (or); Applicants with a Bachelor Degree (50 percent marks) and B.Ed. qualification can also apply (or); Applicants with a Bachelor Degree (50 percent marks) and B.Ed. qualification can also apply (or); Applicants with a Bachelor Degree and B.Ed. qualification can also apply.

Level 2: Class VI-VIII teachers (Paper-II):A Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc., B.A., B. Com., etc.) is required for this category.

Applicants with a D.Ed./B.Ed. degree and two years of experience are encouraged to apply (OR) Both appearing and passed candidates are eligible for the 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed)/ 4-year BA/ B. Sc. Ed or B.A. (Ed.)/ B.Sc. (Ed.)/ B. Ed (Special Education).

Class XI-XII Lecturers (Level 3)

Applicants for this category must have earned a Post Graduate (PG) Degree in the relevant topic from a recognised university with at least 50 percent marks. Qualifying Marks: 83 for SC/ PWD candidates and 90 for all others including other State candidates in Matric with Hindi/ Sanskrit or Senior Secondary/ Graduation/ Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects.

The Written Examination and the Interview will be used to select all of the applicants.

Entry Fee for the HTET 2021

The application cost for level 1 is RS. 500 for SC and PH candidates and RS. 1000 for everyone else. The application fee for level 2 is RS. 900 for SC and PH applicants, and RS. 1800 for all other applicants. In addition, the application fee for level 3 is RS. 1200 for SC and PH, and RS. 2400 for other categories.

Exam Pattern HTET 2021

Levels 1, 2, and 3 of the HTET 2021 Exam will have different patterns. The exam format for level 1 will consist of 150 questions worth 150 points, with a time limit of 2 hours and 30 minutes. The exam format for levels 2 and 3 is the same Subject Specific as Opted, but with 60 marks and 60 questions instead of 30 questions and 30 marks. Other topics will have 30 questions and 30 marks apiece. The duration is also 2 hours and 30 minutes.
