CTET Syllabus – CTET Exam Pattern 2025 – Paper I & Paper II
All of the questions in the CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four options from which one will be the best.
There will be no negative marking, and each will have one mark.
Two papers on CTET will be presented.
- (i) Paper-I is for anyone interested in becoming a teacher in grades 1 through 5.
- (ii) Paper-II is for people who want to instruct students in grades VI through VIII.

- The Child Development and Pedagogy test items will concentrate on the educational psychology of teaching and learning for children aged 6 to 11. They’ll concentrate on understanding the characteristics and needs of different types of learners, as well as interaction with them and the qualities and attributes of a successful learning facilitator.
- The proficiencies related to the medium of instruction will be the emphasis of the Language I test items. The language, communication, and understanding abilities will be the focus of the Language II test items.
- Language II will be a completely different language than Language I. Anyone may be chosen by a candidate.

The CTET Certificate And Qualifying Marks
A person who achieves 60% or more on the TET exam will be regarded as a TET pass, according to NCTE notification No. 76-4/2010/NCTE/Acad dated 11.02.2011.
- In accordance with their existing reservation policy, school administrations (government, local bodies, government-aided and unaided) may consider offering discounts to people who belong to the SC/ ST, OBC, differently-abled, etc.
