Selection Process For CIL Management Trainees 2025
In order to pass the CIL Management Trainee Examination. Candidates must take a basic computer-based online exam. Details are also provided below for getting ready for this round. Following that, candidates are invited to an interview if they pass the Computer Based Online Examination. The candidate thereafter becomes a CIL Management Trainee only after passing this Personal round.

CIL Management Trainee Syllabus 2025 – Exam Pattern
The Computer Based Online Test will last 3 hours (in one sitting) and will consist of two 100 marks papers (Paper I and Paper II). Paper-I will include General Knowledge/Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and General English, while Paper-II will include Professional Knowledge (discipline-related) with 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQ) in each paper. Each question will be worth one mark, and there will be no penalty for incorrect answers. Unanswered questions will receive no marks. The question paper will be bilingual, meaning that it will be written in both English and Hindi.
