Qualification for AP TET 2021

For both Paper 1 and Paper 2, the AP TET Eligibility Criteria will differ. Paper I will be held for students in grades I through V, while Paper II will be held for students in grades VI through VIII. Paper I: Applicants for the APTET 2021 Paper 1 Exam for Classes I to V must have completed their Intermediate with a minimum of 50% marks. Paper-II:

Part A: (a) Math/Science/Social Studies teachers: Any bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% in the relevant discipline, with a minimum of 40% for SC/ ST/ BC. SC/ ST/ BC with 45 percent MArks must have completed four years of B.A.Ed./ B.Sc. Ed with at least 50% Marks.

SC/ ST/ BC with 45 percent minimum marks and 4 year B.A.Ed./ B.Sc. Ed with 50% minimum marks are both eligible.

4 year B.A.Ed./ B.Sc. Ed with a minimum of 50% and SC/ ST/ BC with a minimum of 45 percent are both qualified.

Language teachers must have a bachelor’s degree with language as one of the optional topics or a master’s degree in the language. Aspirants must also possess a language category or a B.Ed. in methodologies language.

Part B: Aspirants who have completed their Intermediate through the Andhra Pradesh Board of Education (or) an equivalent certificate recognised by the Ape Board of Education and are pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Physical Education (U.G.  Dip. B.Ed..) of one or two years duration/Diploma in Physical Education (Dip.Ed..) of not less than two years duration from any NCTE institution. Candidates for the position of Physical Education Teacher/ Scholl Assistant – Physical Education must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education with a graduation in the subject (BPE). And applicants must have completed a one-year Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P. Ed) programme.
