Status: Selected

Round 1: Online Assessment, Round 2: Technical, and Round 3: HR was the three rounds of the Wipro WILP Interview.

Round 1: We’ve arrived at the first phase, which is the online assessment round. The Aptitude Test – Verbal, Analytical, Quantitative, and Written Communication Test were the two sections that were covered in this round. While the Verbal, Analytical, and Quantitative parts each had 20 questions, the Verbal, Analytical, and Quantitative sections each had 20 questions. And each section has a time limit of 20 minutes to accomplish. Following that, a Written Communication Test was administered, which consisted of ten questions to be answered in 20 minutes.

Round 2: This is where the candidate’s technical abilities are put to the test. The following are some of the questions that will be asked in this round:

  • What is the use of finalize method?
  • What is Polymorphism?
  • What is Inheritance?
  • What is static and dynamic Binding?
  • What is HTML?
  • What is meant by a Database?
  • What is the purpose of normalization in DBMS?
  • What is BCNF in the DBMS?
  • Briefly explain FCFS.
  • What is the basic function of paging?
  • Give an example of a Process State.

Round 3: Round 2 was successfully completed. It’s now time for round three, which is the HR interview. The following are the questions that were asked during the HR round.

  • Are you willing to relocate?
  • How quickly do you adapt to new technology?
  • Do you have any questions for us?
  • Tell me about yourself.
  • What are your strength and weakness?
  • What has been your greatest failure?

Status: Selected

Round 1: First, I took part in an online assessment. Where I was asked 61 questions over the course of 80 minutes. There are 20 questions linked to Verbal Communication, 20 questions related to Analytical Communication, 20 questions related to Quantitative Communication, and one question related to Written Communication. I passed this stage and was immediately summoned back for round two, the technical round.

Round 2: It’s a one-on-one match. The interviewer accepted my resume and asked me to tell him a little bit about myself. After I finished answering the first question, I was asked questions about my academics. The technical round includes a few questions, which are listed below.

  • What is the use of the DROP command and what are the differences between DROP, TRUNCATE and DELETE commands?
  • Describe the objective of multiprogramming.
  • Give some benefits of multithreaded programming.
  • What is the purpose of an I/ O status information?
  • What is Polymorphism?
  • What is Inheritance?
  • What is the main difference between overloading and overriding?
  • Explain the main purpose of an operating system?
  • What are the advantages of a multiprocessor system?
  • What is virtual memory?
  • What are the different types of joins in SQL?
  • Explain the concept of ACID properties in DBMS?

After passing this phase, I was called for the final step, which was an HR interview.

Round 3: The first question I’m asked is to tell me anything about myself. Following that, a few questions about my family were asked. This was followed by a series of queries such as,

  • What is the difference between hard work and smart work?
  • Are you willing to relocate?
  • What is your greatest fear?
  • How do you feel about working weekends and night shifts?
  • What are your salary expectations?
